A Medicare Europe article presents some interesting findings regarding liquids versus pills. Medical studies have shown that liquid extracts have a faster rate of absorption, higher rates of optimization and are easier to digest. In regards to swallowing, liquids may have a big advantage over tablets. Most people appear to have more trouble swallowing certain pills, particularly the elderly and young children.
